This title will be releasing for free on August 1st. With this application, anyone can be a virtual youtuber much easier now, or at least, that’s the aim of Illusion. So what’s the point of that, you ask? Well, they are set to add in a Virtual Youtuber mode (VTuber), a recent trend in Japan where the youtuber is actually a virtual character rather than a real human. After you are done, you can put yourself into the body of your created avatar with the Oculus Rift and HTC Vive. According to its Steam Page, this is simply a VR avatar creation application where you can create and customize a VR avatar, but it seems only Japanese language will be supported in this title. Apparently, the VR company is due to have 2 more upcoming VR titles: V-Katsu and Tsun-Tsun VR. Today, it was discovered that Summer Lesson and VR Kareshi are not the only upcoming VR titles from IVR. VR Kareshi was also announced for mobile VR at the same time too. They also announced Summer Vacation, scheduled for release later this Summer on Steam (censored) and probably in uncensored format on their web page. The success of VR Kanojo prompted the company to create a VR-focused subsidiary ‘ IVR‘, and VR Kanojo was soon released on Steam in censored format (though you can download the uncensor patch on the official site). In the case of VR Kanojo, the game is uncensored and there are various adult actions which you can engage, after concluding the short storyline mode.
VR Kanojo was crafted as a parody, adult version of Bandai Namco’s Summer Lesson for the Playstation VR, but it turns out to be a surprise success for the company that VR Kanojo end up making a name of its own, despite the company’s initiate disinterest in VR. The developer released ‘VR Kanojo’ last year for PC-based VR. Japanese developer Illusion Software is rather (in)famous in and out of Japan for their range of rather explicit 3D eroge, or rather, pornographic games, but recently, they have switched focus to VR games too.
